Press & Media

Dating safety sources that can be checked, quoted, and reused.

RealAttraction.today publishes dating safety education and public-source research. We separate legal duties, voluntary standards, product guidance, and practical decisions before someone shares, pays, leaves an app, or meets.

Global Dating Safety Rules & Response Map 2026

The first edition compares nine user-response controls across the United States, United Kingdom, EU/EEA, Australia, Canada, India, and Brazil. A separate layer codes topics in twelve official dating-product safety pages. Every matrix cell carries a source note and legal-force label.

Platform guidance report

Dating Safety Signals Report 2026

This companion report compares public safety guidance from dating and matchmaking services, explains verification limits, and keeps platform claims separate from government and academic evidence.

About the work

What we publish.

Dating safety education

Plain-English guides for moments involving money, private images, identity details, off-app moves, verification, and first meetings.

Public-source research

Comparisons of published platform guidance, independent safety material, and the limits of what those sources can establish.

Private pause tool

A free on-device check that helps a person name pressure and choose a next step. It does not identify or investigate another person.

Research limits

We do not publish suspect lists, investigate incidents, collect evidence, recover money, or rank people or dating apps by safety.

Source list, not partner list

The twelve dating products are public sources under review, not recommended services. RealAttraction.today received no payment, affiliate commission, or other consideration for inclusion. No product reviewed the analysis before publication or influenced the coding. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and omission is not a criticism.

AI-assisted source processing

AI tools helped organise source material, compare repeated fields, and prepare draft summaries. Published entries remain tied to the linked public source. AI output is not evidence, legal interpretation, or an independent source. The current map has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

Editorial framing

The story is the gap between a report button and a user right.

The current map is not a review of twelve dating apps. It asks where formal response rights exist, where public product guidance stops, and which safety topics are repeated or missing in the captured source set.

Suggested framing: Where public dating-safety guidance stops—a source-coded comparison across seven jurisdictions and twelve product safety libraries.

Suggested description

A short description for articles and interviews.

RealAttraction.today is an independent dating safety education project. It publishes plain-language guides and public-source research about online dating risks, verification limits, privacy, and safer next steps. It does not identify people, investigate incidents, or provide a safety verdict.

Please do not describe RealAttraction.today as a background-check service, scammer database, law-enforcement resource, or guarantee of safety.
